September's additions to the Library have a rather Eastern European flavour. We received the latest publications from the Czech Institue of Egyptology, in exchange for recent EES books, and we had great fun cataloguing some rather older Russian works from Ricardo Caminos' collection (with a great deal of help from Google Translate!). If you click here, you can see the complete list of library acquisitions for the month.
Until December, we will continue to gather statistics on library usage.
- Please remember to sign the visitor’s book when you come to the London office to help us get a better view on reader numbers; and
- Please don’t re-shelve books you’ve consulted in the library. Either leave them on the tables, or put them on the shelving trolley in the downstairs annexe. This will help us to understand more about which parts of the collection are most used.
Earlier this month, we issued overdue reminders to members whose books had not been returned on time. If we've been in touch and you have not returned your books, renewed them, or told us that they are lost, please do contact us as soon as possible.
After a slight delay, we hope to start moving the collection around downstairs shortly. We hope this will not inconvenience you in any way, but if you can’t find what you need, please ask.
