With your help, over the last year the Society has supported over 20 projects across Egypt including the conservation and reconstruction of coffin fragments at Amarna, the surveying of an Old Kingdom pyramid in Middle Egypt, and the recording of a previously unexplored Graeco-Roman tell-site in the northern Delta. Digitising projects continued in our archives while your donations have helped conserve some of our most fragile records. With your continuing generous support we will be able to continue work like this in the future.
Subscription fees provide the Society with its largest source of income. However, we are currently operating at a deficit and will not be able to continue activities like those listed above without additional funding. Therefore, any contribution you make in addition to your subscription is extremely welcome. For example, if every member contributed just £2.50 a month (the cost of a cup of coffee) we could double our efforts in the field, continue work in our archives, or support even more work in Egypt.
Subscription rates remain the same for members in the UK (full membership: £48); rates for overseas membeers have inscreased slightly due to the increased cost to post Egyptian Archaeology and other subscription volumes.
