Today (8 December) is the 100th birthday of Margaret (Peggy) Drower, one of the Society's Vice-Presidents, and a former EES Chairman and Honorary Secretary. A party was held on Sunday 4th at the nursing home in north London where she now lives for her former colleagues from the EES and University College London to celebrate her birthday. Patricia Spencer also visited her on 6 December to take a card and gifts from the Trustees and staff of the EES. We all send Peggy our very best wishes on this very special occasion and thank her daughter, Laila Hackforth-Jones, for these photographs taken at Sunday's party.
